Working in Asia, the Middle East & Europe: Innovative Architectural Design by Major American Companies

In today’s economy many of our major firms are working in China, Japan, the Middle East and Europe where new construction is flourishing. Our panelists this month will share a wealth of knowledge as to how it is done.

David Diamond – as technical coordinator for Skidmore, Owens and Merrill LLP with 20 years of experience in commercial, retail, institutional and health care projects, David orchestrates and oversees detailed design and construction.

Kye Archuleta - Skidmore, Owens and Merrill LLP has worked on complex projects from libraries to embassies including the Kinggold Hotel in Guangzhou and the United States Embassy in Beijing.

Mark Koester - Backen Arrigoni and Ross (B.A.R.) is a specialist in Japanese and Chinese residential and office projects as well as senior housing in both countries.

Barbara Best-Santos - NW Regional Director of Hospitality at Gensler specializes in domestic and international hotel and restaurant projects as well as oversight of design and interiors for the Church of Scientology worldwide.

John Loomis - Principal at SWA Group Landscape Architect has done many projects in China and Okinawa.

Sherry Caplan - Architecture International is presently working on a theatre in Kuwait and the Romeo and Juliet Towers in Italy.

Come join us for an exciting and informational panel.
