Tour of the Heritage-Fillmore Jazz District and Kabuki Hotel (formerly Miyako Hotel)
The Fillmore district in San Francisco has historically been an area where Jazz has flourished. With the opening of various clubs such as 1300 Fillmore and Yoshi’s San Francisco, and others in the area all located around The Fillmore Heritage Center, the area is set for a comeback to its origins. The Hotel Kabuki (formerly The Miyako) has gone through a renovation by Joie de Vivre Hospitality. This includes the new bar O Izakaya Lounge.
Come join us for a tour of this district led by the contractors Qualogy Contstuction Inc. and members of MCCARTAN Design, including Sarah Borsheim.
We will meet at the O Izakaya Lounge in the Kabuki at 5:15 PM for hors d'œuvres and a No Host bar, and then proceed South down Fillmore seeing the 1300 Club, The Fillmore Heritage Center and winding up at Yoshi’s on the corner of Fillmore and Eddy.
This will be a great chance to see the Club and hear about their design.
We are limiting attendance to 60 persons, so early reservations are a must.
Parking is available in the Japan Center Garage on Post Street, for a fee, just down the street from the Kabuki.
This should be a great and fun evening.
Reply Early.
