An Evening with Chip Conley
Founder and CEO of Joie de Vivre Hospitality
To Benefit Philanthropy by Design

Come join us for a gala evening with Chip Conley at the Galleria Park Hotel!

Chip Conley is the founder and CEO of award-winning Joie de Vivre Hospitality, California’s largest boutique hotel company, consisting of 40 unique hotels, restaurants and spas. He is the author of The Rebel Rules: Daring to be Yourself in Business (with a foreword by Sir Richard Branson) and Marketing that Matters: 10 Practices to Profit Your Business and Change the World. In his next book, PEAK: How Great Companies Get Their Mojo From Maslow, Chip shares his unique prescription for success based on the famed psychologist’s theories on human motivation. Former Medtronic CEO and author Bill George says of PEAK, "Chip Conley presents a creative and thought-provoking new approach to running a business. He brilliantly applies Abraham Maslow's theories to management and provides insightful prescriptions that will help you gain peak performance in your company. Conley’s depth and candor make this book a must-read for everyone who wants to improve their organization." PEAK will be published in September 2007. Chip has received numerous hospitality industry awards and has been recognized as a committed and creative philanthropist. He is a member of the Global Business Network and Young President’s Organization and received his BA and MBA from Stanford University.

He has been a very important contributor to H.I.A. in presenting numerous programs for our organization.

Chip will speak about his new book and new Joie de Vivre Hospitality projects.

We will meet at the Galleria Park Hotel at Sutter and Kearney San Francisco, CA. at 5:30 P.M.

Our program begins at 6:00 P.M.
